Karine Azarian

Karine is an exceptional senior paralegal who joined Davidovich Stein with over 25 years of experience specializing in insurance defense and personal injury. Karine’s extensive knowledge in the State, Federal and Court of Appeal courts makes her unique and an asset to the Firm. Karine has proficiency in all aspects of case management from onboarding new clients, propounding and responding to discovery, preparing discovery motions and mediation briefs, assembling trial binders, formulating jury instructions, and assisting counsel during trial.  In addition, Karine has handled immigration matters and has helped many clients in obtaining citizenship and/or permanent residence in the United States.

Before joining Davidovich Stein Karine singlehandedly managed the caseloads of three attorneys in addition to the managing partner, at The Phillips Firm, APC, where her meticulous attention to detail helped to ensure all calendaring issues were handled properly and deadlines were timely met. She was also the firm’s CFO and Director of Human Resources, responsible for hiring and employee management. Karine has significant experience utilizing HR technologies that improve staffing, employee relations, training and development, and compliance.

Karine obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Watterson College where she also obtained her paralegal certification. She has also attended UCLA’s extension program for paralegals.  Karine continues to better her education and is an active member of NALA, The Paralegal Association, where she actively continues to take courses to keep up with her knowledge and credits as a paralegal. In addition, Karine is currently enrolled and hopes to attend California State University, Northridge in the Fall where she plans to get her second Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  Karine is also a Notary Public.  Karine not only speaks English, but she is fluent in Armenian as well.

When not working, Karine enjoys her time with her two adult kids, and her husband Raffi of 28 years. She enjoys traveling, loves watching movies, working out and is an avid Peloton cyclist.
